ABOUT ME
Born in Canada, I grew up surrounded by the natural beauty of the Rocky Mountains an environment that shaped how I see space, materials, and the relationship between design and the world around us. That early exposure to strong landscapes, texture, and light continues to influence my work today, inspiring interiors that feel grounded, intentional, and visually cohesive.
My background combines creativity with discipline. As a dedicated athlete, I focused on soccer and proudly represented multiple high-level teams throughout my youth and adulthood. That experience built the mindset I bring into every project: teamwork, consistency, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure. Design often begins with a blank canvas something that can feel intimidating but I’ve always been drawn to the challenge. I enjoy the freedom and responsibility of shaping an environment from the ground up and turning a concept into something real, functional, and built with purpose.
Before stepping fully into the design industry, I developed hands-on experience in construction, specializing in carpentry, plumbing, and renovations. Working directly with real materials, tools, and jobsite conditions gave me a deeper understanding of how spaces come together and what it takes to create solutions that aren’t just beautiful but buildable. That construction-informed perspective continues to shape my approach to detailing, planning, and documentation today.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Liberty University in May 2024, where I strengthened my technical and creative foundation through studio projects, collaboration, and leadership. I was also involved with the Interior Design Association, serving as an officer and helping coordinate workshops and events that supported design growth, communication, and community within the program.
I am currently working as an Interior Designer at Architect Builder Group in Charlotte, North Carolina, contributing to a diverse range of commercial and residential projects including coffee shops, restaurants, offices, warehouses, renovations, and new builds. My role includes schematic design and space planning, client coordination, and producing permit drawing sets that support real-world execution. I work in a Revit-driven workflow, translating design intent into clear documentation while coordinating with consultants and local jurisdictions throughout the permit process.
At the core of my work is the belief that design should improve the way people live, work, and interact with the spaces around them. My style is rooted in simplicity and clarity creating environments that feel refined, functional, and intentional without being overcomplicated. Whether I’m shaping early layout concepts or supporting permit documentation, my goal is to deliver solutions that align with the client’s vision while remaining practical, efficient, and timeless.
As I continue building my career in commercial design, I am committed to growing my expertise and pursuing NCIDQ certification to further strengthen my professional practice.
